BLRT REPAIR YARDS Klaipeda has seen countless vessels, each with a story, but some ships carry a legacy that stretches far beyond their hulls
Meet the Adhémar de Saint-Venant, a Jan De Nul Group multi-purpose vessel. Named after the 19th-century mathematician and engineer who laid the groundwork for modern mechanics, this ship is as unique as her namesake. Designed to bury subsea cables, install rocks, and handle a full range of offshore tasks, she offers versatility that significantly reduces operational costs- a concept that would make Saint-Venant himself proud
Our team gave her the full treatment during her time with us for the 2nd intermediate survey. From steel renewal between the bow thrusters to freshening her silicone-based protective coating, ensured she was prepared for all that lay ahead. Our work also included cleaning the box coolers, repairing cabin floors, and ensuring the galley ventilation was spotless.
We proudly keep vessels like the Adhémar de Saint-Venant ready for the open seas. By blending respect for history with modern skills and technology, we ensure ships can tackle their next challenges with confidence.
