At the end of 2020, 186 m long and 25 m wide OPTIMA SEAWAYS ferry, owned by the international shipping and logistics company DFDS visited Western Shiprepair, one of BLRT REPAIR YARDS, for repairs. Lady Optima Seaways was accommodated in FD170 which is meant for the repairs of Panamax type vessels.
But the place in dock is never empty, and soon another beautiful lady, 147 m and 24 m BALTIVIA, owned by the Polish state ferry company Polska Żegluga Bałtycka S.A. – Polferries entered FD170.
We said hello to 2021 and celebrated it by welcoming two ferries owned by TT-Line, and accommodated them in FD12 and FD 219. One of the ferries is MARCO POLO, which was successfully maintained and left the yard a few days ago. And the repairs of the second vessel ROBIN HOOD, should be completed shortly.
With all three operational docks, the company’s capacity increases exponentially and opens up new opportunities for servicing an increasing number of large vessels and replenishing the company’s order book.
