Coral Ivory, an LPG tanker operated by our long-term partner Anthony Veder, recently completed her 5th special survey at BLRT Repair Yards in Klaipeda.
As an SP/FR (semi-pressurised/fully refrigerated) carrier, Coral Ivory is designed for flexibility, capable of transporting liquefied gases like LPG under both moderate pressure and deep refrigeration.
The scope of work focused on lifetime extension and system upgrades. In addition to a scheduled main engine overhaul, targeted structural maintenance, including the renewal of tank dome fastenings and various pipeline improvements, ensured continued reliability and safety.
Over 1,300 bolts were replaced as part of planned cargo containment integrity checks on the cargo dome. Other work included modifications to sampling point pipes, emergency shower line repairs, SW firefighting pipe renewal, hydraulic jib pipe replacement on the provision crane, and full hull painting.
