Last week, the dock was buzzing with double the action. On one side, Prostvik was in for a scheduled drydocking and a fresh new look. A clean paint job and reflective logos now give this hardworking ferry a sharper identity, one that won’t go unnoticed, especially during dark Nordic nights✨

Just a few metres away, the battery-hybrid Altera was also in for scheduled works; both ferries are part of Finferries’ trusted fleet that keeps Finland moving across different routes.

Now, as December settles in and holiday lights begin to flicker across the archipelago, the importance of these ferries takes on a deeper meaning- they become the way people get home for the season’s most meaningful moments.
