In early March, large-scale intermediate survey project was undertaken by Western Shiprepair (WSR), one of BLRT Repair Yards in Klaipeda, in the FD 170 dock on GASCHEM AACHEN, a 180.42 m long LPG tanker managed by Hartmann Gas Carriers. Team WSR performed various types of works such as propeller polishing, renewal of over 40 tonnes of steel, crane hydraulic hoses replacement, hose handling crane hydraulic cylinder overhaul, modification of sewage treatment plant, an overhaul of electric motors, hull and freshwater tank treatment and painting. Final stage of repair was carried out by the quay. The re-delivery of the tanker to the customer was done in early April.
