General cargo vessel FRISIAN SEA of Boomsma Shipping underwent a special survey at one of BLRT Repair Yards in Tallinn – a comprehensive examination to assess and ensure its integrity, #safety, and compliance with Class requirements.

To align with #environmental regulations and sustainable shipping, specialists at our retrofit department have installed a Headway OceanGuard BWMS HMT-300 ballast water treatment system.

„Tallinn Shipyard“, viena iš trijų „BLRT Repair Yards“ laivų statyklų, laivybos bendrovei „Amisco“ priklausančiame krovininiame laive „DANITA“ įdiegė pirmąją „DACS“ apsauginės dangos oru technologiją (angl. Air Lubrication System), kurią kartu sukūrė „Damen Shipyards Group“ ir Delfto technologijos universitetas. 

„Damen Air Cavity System“ (DACS) technologijos esmė yra ta, kad speciali sistema suformuoja ploną mažyčių burbuliukų sluoksnį ir tokia oro danga ištisai padengia laivo plokščiąjį dugną. Dėl šios priežasties sumažėja trintis tarp korpuso ir vandens, o tai sutaupo degalų sąnaudas iki 15 %, sumažina išmetamųjų teršalų kiekį ir padidina laivo efektyvumą.

„Tallinn Shipyard“ valdybos narys Sergey Kravchenko pažymėjo, kad laivų statyklos komandai labai malonu, jog ilgametė jų partnerė Estijos laivybos bendrovė „Amisco“ patikėjo šį projektą būtent „Tallinn Shipyard“ statyklai. „Mes visada siekiame tobulumo ir stengiamės taikyti naujausias technologijas jūrų pramonėje. Ilgametės patirties ir žinių dėka mūsų kvalifikuota komanda buvo pasiruošusi įgyvendinti tokį projektą. Ši pažangiausia technologija tikrai pagerins laivo eksploatacines savybes ir prisidės prie ekologiškesnės ateities ir tvaraus vystymosi. Didžiuojamės galėdami būti šio projekto dalimi“.

Apsauginės dangos oru technologija paprastai yra patikima, jai reikalinga minimali priežiūra ir ji, palyginti su kitomis technologijomis, ilgai ir patikimai veikia.

„Danita“ laivo su sumontuota „DACS“ sistema dėka, „Amisco“ pasieks CII reitingą, reikalingą tęsti veiklą Baltijos jūroje pagal naujus, griežtesnius emisijos reikalavimus. Kartu gerokai sumažėjusios degalų sąnaudos bendrovei leis greitai susigrąžinti investicijas.

In Mid- February, Turku Repair Yard, one of BLRT Repair Yards, members of BLRT Grupp was honoured to welcome SEYCHELLES PATRIOT, a 189.02m- long 1A ice-class oil product tanker managed by German shipping company GTS Shipmanagement GmbH & Co KG for regular 5-year service in accordance with the requirements of the Classification Society.
 
In addition to standard service, team Turku Repair Yard also carried out such works as:

–  Hull treatment and painting
–  Repairs of different piping systems
–  Steel replacement
–  Overhaul of electric motors
–  Overhaul of anchor winches
–  Other routine jobs

The Estonia will celebrate its 105th anniversary of independence on February 24.

In mid-January, floating dock 12 which happens to be the largest floating dock in the Baltics, welcomed a 234.06 m long and 35.33 m wide car carrier DELPHINE for repairs and maintenance.

Because RoRo Cargo DELPHINE is the largest car carrier accepted for repairs in the history of the Western Shiprepair, one of BLRT Repair Yards, project preparation required even more detailed and precise approach, including preparation of the documentation for the docking operation.

DELPHINE underwent First Special Survey with additional:

– overhaul of the steering and propulsion group including five (5) thrusters

– installation of the foundations for wind rotors

– other routine jobs

DELPHINE is managed by the world-famous company Anglo-Eastern – a leading global provider of ship management services.

The company manages  over 600 vessels in its fleet and deservedly named one of the largest ship operators in the world.

Worth mentioning, that this is not the first project that was implemented in cooperation with Anglo-Eastern company.

A few years back, team BLRT Repair Yards in Klaipeda successfully repaired Federal type bulk carriers managed by Anglo-Eastern.

Yesterday, on January 23, a splendid keel-laying ceremony for the floating dock being built for BLRT Grupp took place at Hat-San Shipyard

A 180m long and 30m wide dock is currently under construction at HAT-SAN Shipyard and will be Tallinn Shipyard’s largest one, opening up the possibility to accommodate #Handysize vessels.

“I am delighted that the work is going according to schedule and will be completed in spring 2024. The new dock will secure the further #expansion of our vessel repair and upgrade capabilities and contribute to reducing environmental impact.”- said Chairman of the Management Board of Tallinn Shipyard Sergey Kravchenko

The event was attended by the Estonian Ambassador to Turkey, Anneli Kolk, and Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, Selim Dursun.

In December, Tallinn Shipyard repaired the multi-purpose ship Alaskaborg, thus completing maintenance of all A-type ships owned by the Royal Wagenborg shipping company. 

Over the past three years, from 2020 to 2022, – the yard has maintained 14 A-type vessels, with four of them – Amazoneborg, Avonborg, Americaborg and Alaskaborg – undergoing repairs in 2022. 

On top of general maintenance, most of the Royal Wagenborg vessels coming to BLRT Repair Yards also had #bwts installed. For instance, in 2020, Tallinn Shipyard professionals fitted BWTS onto 13 vessels of the long-standing partner, 15 – in 2021 and 9 – in 2022. 

Royal Wagenborg considers the Ocean Health initiative of great importance, which is why the company has set an #ambitious target to install at least 20 ballast water treatment systems per year. And BLRT Repair Yards are proud to be able to share the #goal!

Koncernas „BLRT Grupp“ siekia dar labiau padidinti Taline esančios laivų remonto įmonės pajėgumus, įsigyjant naują plaukiojantį doką. Surengta plieno pjovimo ceremonija, kuri žymi oficialią pastarojo statybų pradžią.

Plaukiojantis dokas, kurio ilgis siekia 180, plotis – 30 metrų, o keliamoji galia – 10 tūkst. tonų, statomas Turkijos įmonėje „Hat-San Shipyard“. Numatyta, kad jo statybos darbai bus baigti 2024 metų pavasarį.

Naujasis plaukiojantis dokas pakeis dabar naudojamą doką, kurio ilgis yra 155, o plotis – 27 metrai, ir galės priimti net „Handysize“ tipo laivus.

Koncerno „BLRT Grupp“ laivų remonto įmonėse Estijoje, Lietuvoje ir Suomijoje per metus suremontuojama, modernizuojama ir techniškai aptarnaujama per 270 laivų. Naujojo doko įsigijimas leis įmonei „Tallinn Shipyard“ išplėsti savo pajėgumus, priimant didesnius laivus, ir taip pagerinti į Estijos uostus atplaukiančių laivų, kurie dabar nukreipiami į kitas koncerno laivų remonto įmones, aptarnavimą.

„Naujo doko statyba yra dar vienas koncerno laivų remonto investicijų programos etapas, skirtas ženkliai padidinti mūsų laivų remonto įmonių galimybes ir išplėsti laivų savininkams siūlomą paslaugų paketą. Per pastaruosius penkerius metus į šią veiklos sritį investavome daugiau nei 75 mln. eurų, investicijas tęsime ir ateityje“, – komentavo „BLRT Grupp“ valdybos narė Veronika Ivanovskaja.

Sutartis dėl doko statybos buvo pasirašyta šių metų vasaros pabaigoje.
