BLRT Repair Yards’ Turku Repair Yard in Naantali has completed repair and maintenance projects on SAANA and ECKERÖ LINK, two vessels with very different yard scopes and operational journeys ahead.

SAANA, managed by the Finnish branch of OSM Thome, entered dry dock for her Intermediate Survey. The yard stay focused on inspection and maintenance work required to support the tanker’s continued safe and reliable operation. Following completion of the project, SAANA is now preparing for her next assignment.

At the same time, passenger/cargo ship ECKERÖ LINK was undergoing a much more visible transition. During her stay at Turku Repair Yard, the vessel’s new identity was applied.

The project has now been completed, and ECKERÖ LINK has returned to service, operating freight and cargo transport between Långnäs in Åland and Naantali on the Finnish mainland.
