In late March, we commenced scheduled maintenance on the AKKA, a RoRo/ passenger vessel operated by TT-Line. This 191m long and 30m wide vessel is familiar to our repair crew, having been previously serviced under its former name, NILS HOLGERSSON.

During previous service visit, the ferry was renamed AKKA, inspired by the sage and venerable wild goose from the enchanting tales of ‘The Wonderful Adventures of Nils’

TT-Line has a tradition of naming their ferries after iconic characters from fairy tales, including NILS HOLGERSSON, PETER PAN, TINKER BELL, and HUCKLEBERRY FINN.

This February, we also had the pleasure of servicing the HUCKLEBERRY FINN, another gem from their fleet, in one of our docks.
