1A Super ice-class holder – a 137.15 m long cargo vessel PASILA of ESL Shipping Ltd visited BLRT Repair Yards in Tallinn for an intermediate survey.

In a frame of maintenance, specialists of the yard completed the cleaning of fuel tanks, treatment of 8700 m2 of different surfaces including hull and cargo holds, an overhaul and restoration of anchor-mooring winches, modernized different piping systems, adjusted hatch covers’ rubber compression, performed a bow thruster overhaul and other routine jobs

Now, M/S Pasila is all set and ready for a new assignment.

ESL Shipping Ltd – the leading carrier of dry bulk cargoes in the Baltic region – is a good customer of BLRT Repair Yards. In 2021, the company entrusted us with labour-intensive repairs and modification of 4 of its general cargo vessels EIRA, ALPPILA, KALLIO and TALI.
